The Icy Strait is a waterway in the Alexander Archipelago in south-eastern Alaska. It separates Chichagof Island to the south from the Alaska mainland to the north. The Cape Spencer Light is an important former lighthouse and remains an active aid to navigation.
Icy Strait Point is owned and operated by Alaska Natives, with all profits going directly to support the community of Hoonah, Alaska’s largest Native Tlingit village.
